Ramya Iyer - The never say never.

We all have 24 hours in a day, it’s the same for all. But not everyone can don the multiple hats and ace in each of them as Ramya does.
A professional with arduous work commitments, a mother of two, a poet, and an avid writer. One might think her plate looks full enough, but along with these, she is a passionate long-distance runner too. With multiple HMs, two stadium runs (relay format), 6 hours of a night run, 2 FMs under her name, and being an ambassador of Pinkathon, Sion.
Meet Ramya, our protagonist from the first series of run chronicles.

Ramya believes running has helped her transform not just physically but mentally as well, cultivating a habit of having a positive mindset.
There have been days when leaving the bed for the morning runs looked like a humongous task. But she has these nuggets of tricks which help her in staying motivated and dedicated.
Tag along a friend, though she personally runs to run solo.
Use these run times as “me time”, to retrospect and align her thoughts.
Keep short-term goals and sign up for an event. That gives a purpose to train

Even when she is nursing an injury and is forced to keep away from running, she uses this time to give back to the running community by cheering and supporting her friends for their long runs.
This keeps her passion alive and is a way to stay connected with running.
“If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.”
We wish you all the best Ramya and may you have an amazing running streak.
